The Featured Development and Industrial Software Summit Forum of School of Information and Software Engineering of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was held in Shahe campus on September 26, 2021. Experts from the Ministry of industry and information technology, Chengdu Economic and Information Bureau, relevant domestic research institutions and enterprises had an in-depth exchange on the current situation and future development suggestions of industrial software in China. 

In the morning, leaders and experts from China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, the Fifth Electronic Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Software Industry Department of Chengdu Economic and Information Bureau, and the School of Information and Software Engineering of University of Electronic Science and Technology gave a talk on several thoughts on the development of industrial software in China, opportunities, adjustments and strategies for the development of industrial software The Chengdu action plan for promoting the development of industrial software (2021-2015) and the industrial software construction plan of University of Electronic Science and Technology made wonderful speeches.

Mr. Xiong Jian, General Manager of Chengdu Xionggu Jiashi Electrical Co., Ltd., with the topic of Xionggu's upgrading of traditional products with embedded industrial software development as the core, reviewed the process of Xionggu's R&D and upgrading of pipeline automatic welding machine with embedded software over the past decade, so that Chinese pipeline construction enterprises no longer rely on the import of pipeline automatic welding machine. It greatly reduces the construction cost of pipeline automatic welding, improves the construction quality and efficiency, and popularizes the pipeline automatic welding process in China's pipeline construction industry.
