On the morning of January 16, 2024, Mr. Mou Kun, the Vice General Manager of Xiongguai Company, warmly welcomed the leaders and experts from the Construction Management Company. At 9 o'clock, the kickoff meeting for the project started on time at Xiongguai in Chengdu, chaired by Mr. Yang Feng from the Construction Management Company. During the meeting, Mr. Yang Feng comprehensively explained various aspects, including the technical significance of on-site automatic welding of pressure steel pipes for pumped storage power stations, technical conditions for the production of pressure steel pipes at the factory, main obstacles to on-site automatic welding, and fundamental issues needing to be addressed in automatic welding applications. 

Subsequently, the attendees visited several departments and laboratories of Xiongguai Company, including the exhibition hall, Mingzhitang, the welding power supply division laboratory, high-speed imaging, EMC laboratory, environmental testing equipment, SMT control board workshop, internal welding machine production workshop, and process laboratory. In the process laboratory, the experts and leaders attentively watched demonstrations of the A-230 water pipe automatic welding machine and the A-610 double welding torch automatic welding, and highly praised Xiongguai Company's comprehensive strength.
