The Chengdu Craftsman Naming Conference was held at the Tianfu International Convention Center on May 5, 2023. The conference kicked off with the solemn national anthem, and a total of 1248 industrial workers were awarded the honorary title of "Chengdu Craftsman". Comrade Liu Liangsong from Xionggu Company was awarded the title of "Chengdu Craftsman" in 2023.

Comrade Liu Liangsong has been engaged in welding for 7 years and is an excellent welding technician at Xionggu Company, specializing in automatic pipeline welding. He has been employed by the company as a full automatic welding training instructor, responsible for providing automatic welding skills training for internal employees and customers of the company. At present, he has trained more than 500 people accumulatively, and has been rated as an exemplary individual by the company for many times.

Comrade Liu Liangsong performed well in the automated welding training of oil pipelines for at ADNOC Abu Dhabi National Petroleum Company (ADNOC) in UAE in May 2019, and was highly recognized by customers.

Comrade Liu Liangsong has also repeatedly accepted complex technical challenges to work in difficult environments. I participated in the Zhoushan subsea pipeline project with my company colleagues in October 2019. They overcame the impact of complex marine environments on fully automatic welding technology, setting a new record of 60 welding joints per day, and completed a 5-kilometer offshore pipeline laying operation in 10 days.
